Being a picky then being diagnosed with a beef allergy this farm literally saved my life. If you have alpha gal syndrome I highly recommend it. Comes really well packaged and still frozen.

Amaroo Hills is THE best!! My husband was diagnosed with Alpha-gal in 2020. He has such a hard time coming to terms with not being able to eat mammal (mainly steak) again. I heard of Amaroo in a Facebook group and immediately ordered some emu, ostrich and duck. I surprised my husband with an emu steak and he was so beyond happy. We have ordered several times since and everything has been great. The duck sausage is a great substitute for pork sausage. We just had the fajita marinated emu tonight and it was EXCELLENT. The recipe on their website for Hot Italian Emu is fantastic. I can go on forever, but I just have to say THANK YOU so much for making this diagnosis so much better to live with.

I have had alpha-gal since 2017 and I was growing weary of eating just chicken and turkey so my husband encouraged me to try emu and duck. I am so, so pleased and impressed with the ground emu, emu filet, and duck bacon that I ordered. My order was delivered as promised, and the meat is absolutely amazing! Got our 1st order in yesterday. We got s sampler box. We had duck sausage for breakfast today and it was wonderful!! I have Alpha-gal and cannot eat Red meat, so we're trying emu to see how it tastes. An emu steak will be going in the smoker today. Looking forward to eating emu, since beef and pork are outside my diet these days.

I loved that they carry so many different meats that taste just like beef. I was thrilled when I found out about this site from my allergist. But I quickly became disappointed when I seen the prices. Pretty expensive for someone who is a single parent with a small income. So ya buzz kill. But if you have a bigger budget and want meat that taste like beef or just to try something new then click on their site.

The emu jerky was very good - It was less gamey than expected, and surprisingly similar to my memory of beef. The smoked chicken was exceptional, and the best I've ever had. Looking forward to the sous-vide duck and duck bacon tips!

I'm at Vanderbilt University Hospital recovering from a double lung transplant and we have to live in Nashville for 3 months for therapy and recovery. Before leaving town, my brother stopped by the farm to pick up a supply of meats for us since I have Alpha Gal. Weve been enjoying duck bacon and having smoked duck breast tonight! After being diagnosed with Alpha Gal, I found this farm. Owned and operated by someone who also has alpha-gal, I was immediately enamored. Their product is extremely high quality, extremely reasonably priced (Emu meat at other sources is far more expensive) and their customer service is phenomenal! I was having an issue with a shipment (Fedex had a glitch on their system that doubled the price of my order, which triggered a signature being required); I called Amaroo after their closing time as I live on the West Coast and they answered. After explaining that Fedex refused to change the delivery address to either my job or their depot, and that I would have to take off of work to sign for this the gentleman on the phone asked if he could call me back in five. Well, he in fact did call me back, and with fedex on the line as well! He got fedex to hold the package at my local depot, so I didn't have to miss a day of work. Today he contacted me again to let me know that the package was confirmed by fedex to be at the depot waiting for my arrival! I thanked him for the effort he put in, only to find out that it was the owner himself that answered the phone and did all of this work to hep me out! So thank you, Amaroo and Mr. Nguyen! You are fantastic, and I will continued to buy from you for all my Alpha-Gal friendly red meat needs!

A few months ago I was diagnose with a tick transmitted syndrome called Alpha-gal; each time I ate mammal product, severe allergic reaction will occur.  So no more hamburgers, salami, steaks, hamburgers, meatballs, etc. Or, so I thought until I was introduced to Emu meat.  After a conversation with Ngon, Amaroo Hills Emu farm owner, where he suggested specific Emu cuts based on my cooking preference, guided me with proper cooking techniques, and took my first order. The package arrived timely, frozen solid, well packed and each item clearly labeled.  To my pleasant surprise, my family, friends and I learned that the Emu meat tasted, felt and looked just like beef products with added value of healthier food (less fat and cholesterol).  We have feasted on Emu meat for a few weeks now and just placed another large order that arrived within two days.  Thank you Amaroo Hills farm for restoring our food lifestyle with a great and better substitute.  Your service and product is impeccable. Just recieved our first order from Amaroo Hills. Not only was the ordering easy - but the shipment seems like it came the next day. The meat is extremely great quality. We have had the filets - and when cooked properly it's amazing. My favorite has been the ground emu. It's made the most amazing spaghetti sauce I've ever made, as well as the most amazing Green Chili Cheesburgers I've ever grilled - and Just last night I made a pot of Chili using the Ground emu with added duck fat - The flavor of the emu was great. And last but not least - the Jerky. I was skeptical to be honest...but it was great - perfectly 'jerkied' if that makes sense, and the flavors (all four) are really quite good - not too over powering (like some jerky on the market)

What a special treat to serve Amaroo Hills emu. I was amazed at how delicious the tenderloin was, so flavorful but not heavy like beef. We also enjoyed the ground emu. I'm sold on emu and looking forward to ordering more! Thanks for making ordering easier online!!

I have been ordering emu meat from this farmer for 3 years now. I found his farm through a Facebook group. I eat lots of emu, partly because of health reasons and partly because it's so delicious. Ngon is very helpful in assisting with questions about how and what dishes are best. Shipping is always prompt. He is sure to send out notifications when a new patch has been processed. If you haven't tried emu meat, I would suggest starting with the ground. You will notice there is very little fat as compared to beef or pork. However you can make anything as you would with beef, such as burgers, tacos, meatballs, chili. I have been to this farm and I can attest to the loving way this farmer cares for his birds. The farm is clean and the pens are large so the birds can run. They are raised on fresh water, fresh air, and sunshine..plus food of course.

After being diagnosed with an alpha gal I needed a good meat that was not from Mallamillion beef. I love the ostrich and the emu steaks as well As the duck sausage!!!

Absolutely exceptional quality meat at great prices. Everything I've tried has been a treat, and the duck sausage especially has been a God send since I tend to stay away from pork.
