This farm is amazing! So interesting, the family are so nice and very helpful. They have so much information to share with you about the quality and care of the meats. We were able to see the animals, that was amazing experience ❤. The meats were package so well! We just cooked one of the Emu steaks yesterday on the grill for my daughter who had alpha gal and can not eat any red meat like cow, pig or lamb. The taste was just like a steak and she loved every bite. When she took her first bite she had a big smile on her face and even cried with happiness ☺. Now she can eat steak with us again. So very cool to see roaming emus and hear the noises they make when picking up my order! I have alpha-gal (tick-bite induced allergy to mammalian products) and both emu and ostrich are pretty close to beef (which I raise on my own farm, but can't enjoy without serious consequences) in taste, color and texture. Amaroo Hills meats have never triggered an alpha-gal reaction and I am so grateful for this resource!!

I called and had a few questions they were answered by the owner. Who was very helpful and helped me pick out some different kinds of emu cuts. Customer Service is excellent, along with shipping. The shipping was fast, the food was packaged very well to keep frozen, and it did arrive frozen. Taste better than filet mignon. Thank you

Great meats and service, but the way they charge is outrageous!! They should charge by the pound of weight instead of so much for 12-16 oz. I got 8 steaks that all weighed 12 oz, so it would have been a lot cheaper to pay by the pound instead of cut. I feel that I lost about 2 pounds of meat that could have been bought for the same price!!!! (8x4=32oz). Just be aware of how they charge and definitely don’t expect your cuts to be at the top end of the weight scale!!!!!!!!

I am thrilled to be able to have access to these delicious products. Our family of 4 has alpha gal syndrome and we were really getting tired of chicken, turkey, and seafood. It's so nice to have access to red meat we can eat. We've ordered lots of different cuts and had them shipped. Everything always came packed extremely well, good a frozen, and absolutely delicious.

I am so happy I found this place. I placed my first order for a sample pack a few weeks ago. The package arrived within a few short days and was packaged in a sturdy strio foam cooler packed on dry ice, neatly secured in a sturdy box. The meat was still frozen solid. I cannot believe what I have missing, from duck sausage, breasts, emu burgers etc. It is all delicious! I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for high quality meat products.

I have alpha gal syndrome and haven’t been able to eat beef or pork in over four years. EMU BURGERS DO NOT DISAPPOINT!!’ Better than any beef patty I’ve ever had!! And the DUCK MAPLE SAUSAGE AMAZING as well!!! I feel like I can finally eat again, even better than before! 100/100 ⭐️

The package shipped quickly, arrived quickly & the meat was still frozen solid at delivery. Cant wait to try it! We raise emus as pets but have always been interested in trying the meat which from my understanding is delicious. We cant wait to try it!

Fantastic taste and just the right texture on the emu burgers with duck fat. We unthawed the duck bacon and ate it all the way back to Virginia. Alpha Gal or not the emu burger is a winner. Actually afraid to post this afraid I will hear Sold Out!

I was very pleased with the burgers and the ground emu but I cooked the cube steak and it was very tough! I'm a cook and I followed the directions but we could barely chew it! Very disappointed for the price!

Amaroo is the best place ever to get Duck sausage ...the people are amazing and understanding . Price are well comparable to others but the quality is there above and beyond .

I used an emu fillet for the beef in beef stew. The Pinterest recipe is for IP cooking. Delicious, tender fillet resembles beef. I used vegetable stock and cooked in my IP with Ultimate Lid.

This has been a life saver. And their pre-cook foods are to die for. I finally feel like I can eat like a normal person again.
