I’ve been coming here for years. They have a fantastic selection of meats, produces, and sweet treats. I always get my apples, eggs, meat, and veggies here. Shout out to Diane for being so kind and letting me ramble. Prices are fair too. You have to stop by
This is the cutest place ever!!! They have an amazing selection of produce and beautiful pumpkins and mums! The staff who were working were friendly and helpful, especially Savannah who helped answer some of our questions. I would 100% recommend this local farm to anyone in the area!!
Tldr: great place to buy flowers. Hanging baskets, veg starters, and fresh animal products. Friendly helpful staff. Parking is horrible. Flowers- they have a variety of hanging baskets, small potted plants, vegetable plants, decorative grasses, and cactuses. The variety was not great when we went, but we also went the day before mothers day. My family usually gets their mothers day hanging baskets from here and usually it's a pretty good selection. The flower selection was not the best but the vegetable plant selection was really great, lots of types of squash, herbs, and even pickling cucumbers! The cactus selection was pretty good as well. A good variety of different types, those were in the checkout shed so if you're looking for a cactus make sure you look at the plants in the shed. The prices here are good, and we ended up buying 4 large baskets for $60. Animal products- in the checkout shed there are several freezers across the back with a variety of types of meat you can buy. They also have signs against the wall advertising to sign up to get a turkey, which I know are pretty popular. There were also two refrigerators full of farm fresh eggs ready to buy. Parking- the parking here is horrible. It's right across the Jacksonville fire department and it's a pretty high traffic busy area. There is only parking available on the size of the road. There's room for like 4 cars easily but if it's too crowded I usually will pass it by. Great when it's a little raininy and you're the only person there. Anxious parkers beware. Overall this place is really nice and we will continue getting our hanging baskets from here in the future.
We’re lucky to have this family farm in our area. I just picked up my fresh Thanksgiving turkey and the market is full of pies and other baked goods, produce, jams, cider, and even gifts/decor like blown-glass pumpkins. While I was there they were putting out cauliflower, brussels sprouts and romanesco that had just been harvested. I ordered the turkey ahead on their website and pick-up was really organized. Everyone working was friendly and happy to help. 10/10 Definitely recommend!
This is the best place to go to for any and all of your grocery needs. Eggs are OUT of this WORLD!! We are so excited for Thanksgiving this year though because of the turkey! Usually we buy organic from sprouts, however after seeing how amazing the turkeys look at their farm we absolutely had to get one for thanksgiving this year. TIP: PLEASE TRY THEIR KETCHUP AND OTHER CANNED PRODUCTS THEY ARE INSANELY DELICIOUS AND UNIQUE
Excellent quality produce, meat and plants! We order our turkeys here every year, and they taste better than any heritage turkey I've eaten. To the person who talked about the fans - you moved to a rural area where farmers have been farming for a century. What did you think you would find in a rural area?
Great family owned business that provides fresh meats and produce in my area. They also have a great selection of pumpkins in the fall as well as unique locally made gifts. The entire staff at the Jacksonville location are always helpful friendly and provide excellent customer service.
This local-family owned and operated farm is a one of a kind hidden gem. Not only are they competitively priced with your local chain supermarket but you are paying for true quality. Their Delmonico steaks were crazy good, JT was so kind to explain to us what a Delmonico steak was while we were there. They have fabulous customer service here and we will absolutely be coming back again sometime soon.
This was my first time here. It a good experience and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely go back.
My daughter and I stopped with our horse trailer. Everything looked fresh and beautiful. Although it was pricey everything held up. The long shelf life was so worth the money. Hoping to go back soon. Judi Bechtel
