Adams Farm is a full-service slaughterhouse and retail store that specializes in processing and selling high-quality meat products, including beef, pork, chicken, and smoked meats. They offer customized processing services for farmers and mid-sized companies, as well as a variety of local products in their retail store. The business emphasizes humane animal handling and supports local agriculture by providing fresh, locally raised meat products.
My favorite place to score protein! Great all around Butcher shop, with great local products like eggs and cheese etc. Hands down the best bone-in pork chops I've ever eaten, perfect quality and very fresh. No frills shop, just top quality meat at a fair price, well worth the drive.
Unbelievable selection of meats and custom cuts. Spice choices are excellent. Great local shop that also carries farm fresh milks from other small businesses. Definitely earned my business ::))
Nice selection of meats. The top of the line cuts are a bit uppity in price, the rest seamed to be reasonably priced. Acquired a few things and going to do an honest taste test. So far the sweet Sausage was excellent.
I have been shopping here for 4 years now! Great quality of meats and poultry! Staff is awesome! I recommend them to all my friends and family!!
Adams is top notch!! Staff, management and product have always been top notch. To the lady who posted about the store being closed when she got there after closing: They agreed ahead of time to allow you in at the time they close at 5pm because they knew you were coming a distance. Which is by itself a courteous gesture. And then you show up at 5:02 with no phone call letting them know you'll be later and they're closed. Then you rant about how inconvenienced you were and that they lost a customer. First of all, they didn't lose a customer...they lost a headache. Your absence is their aspirin. There's always your type who isn't happy unless the world works around only you. I work in customer service and understand how important it is to go the extra mile....and Adams Farm did. In the future respect everyone's time and leave sooner or go somewhere else
Very sad, we started buying meat bundles from Adam’s farm a few months ago and we were happy to drive 40 minutes to the farm to pick it up. Today we ran into traffic on route 2 that caused us to run a little later than usual. I gave them a call about an hour in advance and asked if it was okay if we got there RIGHT around 5. The girl replied “uhh yeah unless I lock the door”. I thought that was a little weird but I just said “so if I get there at about 5 you won’t be closed?” and she said “yeah that should be fine”. Well here I am driving all the way back home after I tried to open the door at 5:02 and it was locked. I understand that a store might not make any exceptions but that could’ve been made more clear. This business lost out on close to 300$ from us and our business in the future.
Ordered a pig for a roast showed up and it was sold to someone else. I was comped the difference in weight but really should have been given the other for waiting to have it prepped and for being about 10lbs less in weight.
Having never been a patron of Adams Farm I hadn't thought to write a review of the place until, as on my journey home this eve, I found the discordant humming to finally found pattern but a lack of instantiated cause.
Very good quality products and selection. Staff is very friendly. Definitely worth a visit!
